POLY-CLASSIC® FRP COLUMNS are the product of choice for homeowners and builders who demand beauty, value, and performance. Poly-Classic® FRP Columns are architecturally proportioned from rotocast fiberglass-reinforced polymer — the most advanced construction material in the world — so pound for pound they are stronger than concrete, steel, or aluminum. Poly-Classic® FRP Columns are virtually maintenance-free. They are impervious to termite and carpenter ant attack as well as staining and decaying fungi. High-humidity environments have no effect on these nonporous, waterproof columns.

POLY-CLASSIC® DURAGLASS™ SQUARE COLUMNS offer the classic beauty that homeowners and commercial property owners appreciate. Made from lightweight fiberglass, these columns are easy to cut, easy to install, and strong enough to carry heavy loads. Like other Poly-Classic® columns, DuraGlass™ columns are decay resistant and require little maintenance.

WOOD COLONIAL COLUMNS begin with the milling of finger-jointed or solid staves to exacting dimension. The staves are then assembled into a raw shaft using the strongest Type-I waterproof glue. Torque bands are wrapped around the shaft applying 90 to 100 pounds of pressure per square inch, transforming the individual staves into a single unit, ready for precision turning. Turncraft manufactures a full selection of Colonial Design columns in finger-join western pine. Other species may be available upon request. Columns from 14” to 24” diameter are available. Non-primed wood Colonial paint grade exterior shafts (except redwood or cedar) are treated and protected with Woodlife® 111 wood preservative.

Our turned porch posts are made of real wood turnings that are sanded, treated, primed and ready for painting. Installation is simple with provided plinths and with our limited lifetime warranty you’ll have a post that you can be proud of for many years to come.
